Strange Fortunes

Today, Tuesday, November 6, we traveled from Geneva, Alabama to Blakely, Georgia.

It's Election Day.

Jody rode on the highways, rather than on the route.  It was cold and grey.  Nicole and I took The Little Darkness for an express oil change in Dothan, Alabama, where we missed the Peanut Festival.

Passing through small town Alabama, we saw the remnants of the pumpkin contest.  This wasn't a winner, but it caught my eye outside the post office:

US Postal Service entry in the pumpkin contest.

The dog that didn't chase me.

Where we took The Little Darkness.

Small town, rural Georgia.
Some have fallen on truly hard times.

There's a story here.  A sad one, I'm sure.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
