On the Road Again

We flew back to Las Vegas today, then drove a few miles south to our starting point in Henderson.  We're staying at the Railroad Pass Casino, which has definitely seen better days.

We were greeted in the parking lot by this little roadrunner:

I spent a frustrating hour loading routes into Streets and Trips and into Jody's Garmin.  I thought I had it figured out, but can't seem to get the routes loaded into my own Garmin.  Jody went out and rode a couple of miles, going back to where Peter picked him up last Tuesday, then riding back to tomorrow's starting point on the bike path immediately behind the hotel.

We then drove out to look at the Hoover Dam, as the light began to fade for the days.  Lots of people out as the temperature dropped to the mid-90's.

A long, tiring day of travel.  Looking forward to the bikes tomorrow.
